New Chapter
So Monday the new chapter begins and I go to work for GlowTouch Technologies, a web design company, based out of Louisville KY. I am really excited for it and hope it really goes somewhere. I was sad to leave Charter but closing the door on that chapter of my life is a good thing, now I can move on to bigger and better. Look out world :)

And so it begins
Nothing says "low budget foreign film" like watching a bunch of Chinese guys miss their mouths with Sake while listening to a semi-techno (for 1977) musical score. It would help if there was at least English dubbing so I knew what the fuck these guys were saying without having to read the subtitles.
I haven't posted a blog in a while. Things have been going ok with me lately. I have taken a few promotions at work and I'm working on moving my way into the NOC, right now I'm a Business Account Coordinator. I like what I do, but I really would like the opportunity to further myself in a technical career. I also want the option to earn a bit more money, right now I'm making a decent wage, but would like a better place to live and that isn't happening until I start making more. I have been working on getting my CCNA certification and really need to focus on that, then I might be able to pursue career options other than just at Charter. Oh well.
As for everything else, there is not much else going on with me.

What would life be like if you had done something different, or if something that did happen, didnt. I know I do and I know that no matter how well my life is going right now, that I'd trade it all for the chance to have my brother back again. I miss him a lot and this weekend is going to be tough, I'm glad I have friends to keep me company and occupied. To all of you who have yet to feel the pain of losing a loved one, cherish them with everything you have, because one minute you could be laughing with them about how fucked up it is that your car is only firing off of 4 cylinders, then the next you are planning their funeral. Watch out for them, hold them close, and never let one day go by that you dont tell them you love them for being there and for who they are.

July is the month my brother died... so sometimes it sucks. Sunday would be his 33rd birthday and just 12 days later will mark the 3rd anniversary of his death.... Yeah, I'm not really looking forward to it.

Hi, I am 25 and live in the great Louisville Kentucky. I moved here back in 2007 from Birmingham Alabama with the intention of going to school but have since moved in a different direction now. I have always held a high interest in computers and technology in general so that is what I try to do in life for job relation. I like to play video games (what normal human being doesn't) And I like to hang out with friends. I drink on rare occasions usually when I'm either just really happy or really really thirsty :). I live in a pretty nice apartment and have acquired a lot of things that I didn't have when I moved here. I work for a company called Charter Communications as an "Escalations Specialist", pretty much a fancy word for 'Customer Punching Bag'. I enjoy it most of the times but I am actively pursuing a career in networking. This is my personal space so check back from time to time to see what I might write :)
